Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मानदंड
Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
Candidates must possess the minimum required qualification as per the applied post code. These primarily include:
- 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering disciplines (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Petrochemical etc.)
- B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry for Junior Quality Control Analyst
- For Fire & Safety posts – 10+2 with Sub-Officers Course and a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license
Minimum marks criteria: General/EWS/OBC – 50%; SC/ST – 45% marks or as specified for particular posts.
Age Limit
The candidate's age must be between 18 and 26 years as of 31 December 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection for IOCL Non-Executive posts will be conducted in two major stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): This online exam comprises 100 objective questions covering technical knowledge, numerical ability, and general awareness. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks (40% for General/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD). There is no negative marking. The CBT duration is 2 hours.
- Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT): Candidates shortlisted in CBT will undergo SPPT which is qualifying in nature. It evaluates proficiency and physical standards relevant to the post.
Final merit lists will be prepared refinery-wise and discipline-wise based on CBT marks of candidates qualifying SPPT and medical fitness.

Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of ₹25,000 to ₹1,05,000 (Industrial DA pattern) along with various allowances including House Rent Allowance, Medical benefits, Leave Travel Concession, Performance Incentives, Provident Fund, Gratuity and other benefits as per IOCL policies.
