- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized university under Central or State Act or deemed university as per UGC Act 1956.
उम्मीदवार के पास भारत सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से विज्ञान में स्नातक की डिग्री होनी चाहिए। - Completion of a recognized X-Ray Technician Course from a Government Institute or Medical College recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
मान्यता प्राप्त मेडिकल कॉलेज या सरकारी संस्थान से एक्स-रे तकनीशियन कोर्स पूर्ण होना आवश्यक है। - Basic computer knowledge is mandatory as per Gujarat Civil Services (General) Rules.
गुजरात सिविल सेवा नियमों के अनुसार बेसिक कंप्यूटर ज्ञान आवश्यक है। - Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language is required.
गुजराती या हिंदी भाषा का ज्ञान अनिवार्य है।

Selection Process | चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be based on a single-stage written examination followed by document verification. There is no interview round.
Written Exam Details
- Exam Pattern: MCQ-based, Objective Type (CBRT/OMR)
- Total Marks: 210 (Part A - 90 marks; Part B - 120 marks)
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Negative Marking: ¼ mark deduction for each wrong answer
- Language: Gujarati & English for Part A and Part B
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% in each part

- Radiophysics (X-ray production, tubes, generators, attenuation, mammography) – 25 marks
- Radiation Protection (Units, dosimetry, harmful effects, AERB guidelines) – 30 marks
- Newer Modalities (CT, MRI, USG, subtraction angiography) – 20 marks
- General Radiography & Computer Role – 15 marks
- Digital Radiography – 10 marks
- Radiographic Quality, Dark Room & Accessories – 20 marks

- Click "Apply Now" and fill all mandatory personal and educational details
- Upload photograph (5 cm x 3.6 cm) and signature (2.5 cm x 7.5 cm) in JPG format (max 15 KB) with white background and visible date less than 1 year old
- Submit application and note the generated Application and Confirmation Numbers carefully
- Pay the application fee online via Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallet
- Download printed application form and fee receipt for future reference
Important: After confirmation, no corrections in caste/category or other details are allowed. To make corrections, submit a new application and pay fee again before the last date.

Note: Married SEBC women must submit Non-Creamy Layer certificate based on parents’ income, not husband’s, or the application will be rejected.
Scribe and Compensatory Time for Divyang Candidates
Candidates with benchmark disabilities and writing difficulties may request a scribe or additional time (20 minutes per hour of exam). Requests must be sent by email via prescribed format at least two days before exam date.
