The application process for the Vice-Chancellor post at NLU Meghalaya is offline. The selection committee will prepare a panel of eligible candidates, and the final appointment will be made by the Chancellor. This is a full-time position.

- Route A: उत्कृष्ट विधि विद्वान जिनका 10 वर्ष से अधिक का प्रोफेसर का अनुभव हो और अकादमिक प्रशासन में दक्षता।
- Route B: हाई कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश रहे व्यक्ति।

Route A: Outstanding scholar in law with at least 10 years of experience as Professor or equivalent and proven academic administration experience.
Route B: Person who has been a Judge of the High Court.
