Eligibility Criteria
पात्रता मानदंड
- Educational Qualification: 10th pass (Secondary School Examination) from any recognized board with passing marks in Mathematics and English. Must have studied the local language up to 10th standard.
शैक्षणिक योग्यता: मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण, गणित और अंग्रेजी में पासिंग अंक आवश्यक। स्थानीय भाषा में भी 10वीं तक अध्ययन अनिवार्य। - Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of 16th February 2026. Age relaxations apply as per government rules.
आयु सीमा: न्यूनतम 18 वर्ष और अधिकतम 40 वर्ष (16 फरवरी 2026 तक)। सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार आयु में छूट लागू। - Other Requirements: Knowledge of cycling and computer operation is essential. For BPM posts, candidates must be able to arrange accommodation to run Branch Post Office on their own.

Salary & Benefits
वेतन और लाभ
Selected candidates will receive Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) with periodic increments and Dearness Allowance as per government norms. The approximate salary is:
- Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 per month
- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month
Additional benefits include GDS Gratuity and Service Discharge Benefit Scheme similar to National Pension System.
