Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मापदंड
- Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in Biological Sciences with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA plus 4 years post-PG research & development (R&D) experience, OR PhD in Biological Sciences.
आवश्यक योग्यता: जीव विज्ञान में न्यूनतम 55% अंकों के साथ मास्टर्स डिग्री और 4 साल का पीजी के बाद R&D अनुभव या PhD। - Desirable: Published work or experience in the relevant project area will be preferred.
अनुकूल योग्यता: प्रोजेक्ट क्षेत्र में प्रकाशित कार्य या अनुभव को वरीयता दी जाएगी।
Salary and Benefits / वेतन एवं लाभ
The consolidated monthly stipend is Rs. 42,000 with an additional 9% HRA.
मासिक स्टाइपेंड ₹42,000 एवं 9% HRA।
If no suitable candidate is available as per essential qualifications, the position can be filled at Project Associate-II or Project Associate-I level with stipends as per DST rules.

- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, expected up to 1st December 2028.
- Selected candidates will not be considered employees of Mizoram University or DBT and will not receive regular employment benefits.
- During the tenure, candidates cannot engage in any other employment.
- Monthly progress reports must be submitted to the Principal Investigator.
- Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination.
- Staff are expected to contribute to research publications relevant to the project.
