Eligibility Criteria | पात्रता मानदंड
Educational Qualification / शैक्षिक योग्यता
- Army Wing of NDA: 10+2 पास या समकक्ष परीक्षा (State Board/University से) / 12वीं उत्तीर्ण या समकक्ष परीक्षा।
- Air Force & Naval Wings and Naval Academy 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme: 12वीं में भौतिक (Physics), रसायन (Chemistry), और गणित (Mathematics) विषयों के साथ पास / 12वीं कर रहे अभ्यर्थी भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
- 11वीं कक्षा में पढ़ रहे अभ्यर्थी आवेदन के पात्र नहीं हैं।
- जिन अभ्यर्थियों ने 12वीं में उपस्थित होकर आवेदन किया है, उन्हें 10 दिसंबर 2026 तक 12वीं उत्तीर्ण प्रमाण प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
- 16.5 से 19.5 वर्ष के बीच (01 जुलाई 2007 से 01 जुलाई 2010 के बीच जन्मी हो)
- आयु की गणना 01 जुलाई 2027 के अनुसार की जाएगी।
- केवल अविवाहित उम्मीदवार आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

- भारत का नागरिक हो, या नेपाल का विषय, या भारतवंशीय व्यक्ति जो निम्न देशों से भारत में स्थायी निवास का इरादा रखते हों।

Selection Process | चयन प्रक्रिया
UPSC NDA & NA Recruitment involves a three-stage selection process:
- 1. Written Examination (900 marks): Objective type test with two papers - Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks). Question papers are bilingual (Hindi & English).
- 2. Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview (900 marks): Two-stage test including intelligence tests, psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interview over 4 days. Air Force candidates also take Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
- 3. Medical Examination: Conducted at Armed Forces Medical Services hospitals to assess physical fitness according to specified medical standards.
Final merit list is prepared based on combined marks of written exam and SSB interview, subject to medical fitness.
Pay Scale and Benefits | वेतन और लाभ
Selected candidates will receive a fixed training stipend of ₹56,100 per month during their 3 years at NDA. After commissioning as Lieutenants, the pay scales increase as per government rules with several allowances:
- Starting Pay Level 10: ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 plus Military Service Pay of ₹15,500 monthly.
- Dearness Allowance, Dress Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Hostel Subsidy, and other field-specific allowances.
- Training costs such as accommodation, books, uniforms, and medical facilities are borne by the government.
- Insurance coverage during training and after commissioning is also provided.
Physical Standards | शारीरिक मानदंड
- Height: Minimum 157 cm for males, 152 cm for females; 162.5 cm for flying branches.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per prescribed charts.
- Vision: Corrected vision 6/6 with specified limits on myopia, hypermetropia, and astigmatism.
- Dental, Chest, Hearing, and other standards as detailed in official notification.
