The Medical and Health Recruitment Board Assam (MHRB Assam) has announced a notification for recruiting 02 Assistant Professors in Ayurveda for the year 2025. Eligible candidates holding a Bachelor's and Postgraduate degree in Ayurveda along with valid registration and NTET/Teachers Code qualification can apply online. The application window starts from 15th December 2025 and closes on 5th January 2026.

MHRB Assam has announced 2 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor in Ayurveda, divided into the following departments:
एमएचआरबी असम ने आयुर्वेद में असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर के पद के लिए कुल 2 पद जारी किए हैं, विभागवार विवरण इस प्रकार हैः
- Kayachikitsa: 01 Post (UR)
- Agad Tantra and Vidhi Ayurveda: 01 Post (UR)
- कायचिकित्सा: 01 पद (सामान्य)
- आगाद तन्त्र व विधि आयुर्वेद: 01 पद (सामान्य)
Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता
- Bachelor's degree in Ayurveda from a recognized university by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) / National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
केंद्र सरकार के चिकित्सा परिषद या आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा राष्ट्रीय आयोग द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से आयुर्वेद में स्नातक डिग्री। - Postgraduate qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
सम्बंधित विषय में मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से आयुर्वेद में स्नातक के बाद की योग्यता। - Valid registration with State Council/Board or CCIM/NCISM.
राज्य परिषद या केंद्र परिषद/आयोग के साथ वैध पंजीकरण। - NTET/Teachers Code qualification is mandatory.
एनटीईटी/टीचर्स कोड अनिवार्य है। - Category of Disability considered: Orthopedically handicapped with one arm & one leg, Low vision, Hearing handicapped and Blind with aids.
विकलांगता श्रेणी: अंगों से विकलांग (एक हाथ एवं एक पैर), कम दृष्टि, श्रवण और दृष्टिहीन उम्मीदवार सहायक उपकरण के साथ आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
Salary & Pay Scale / वेतन
The salary for Assistant Professor (Ayurveda) posts will be as per Academic Level 10:
असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर के पदों के लिए वेतन ग्रेड स्तर 10 के अनुसार होगा:
- ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400 per month
- ₹57,700/- से ₹1,82,400/- मासिक
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
Maximum 38 years as on 1st January 2025
01 जनवरी 2025 को अधिकतम आयु 38 वर्ष होगी।
- SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation
- OBC/MOBC candidates get 3 years relaxation
- PWD candidates get 10 years relaxation irrespective of category
- एससी/एसटी – 5 वर्ष की छूट
- ओबीसी/एमओबीसी – 3 वर्ष की छूट
- विकलांग उम्मीदवारों को 10 वर्ष की आयु छूट सभी वर्गों में लागू है
