Salary & Benefits / वेतन और सुविधाएं
The selected candidates will be placed at pay scale Level-1 (₹18,000–56,900) plus applicable Central Government allowances including a 20% Special Security Allowance. Additional benefits include duty compensations for work on holidays up to a 30-day ceiling.

Tier-II Exam (Descriptive Paper) / टियर-2 परीक्षा (वर्णनात्मक पेपर)
A qualifying descriptive test in English Language and Comprehension will be conducted. It consists of a paragraph writing task (about 150 words). The test is for 50 marks with a qualifying score of 20.

Candidates must apply only through online mode by visiting the Ministry of Home Affairs official website or the National Career Service (NCS) portal following these steps:
- Keep a valid and active email ID and mobile number for correspondence throughout the recruitment process.
- Visit www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in for application registration.
- Read instructions carefully and click "I Agree" to begin registration with personal and qualification details.
- Upload scanned recent passport size photograph (100-200KB, jpg/jpeg) and signature (80-150KB, jpg/jpeg).
- Upload relevant documents such as Class 10th certificate and domicile certificate.
- Pay the application fee and recruitment processing charges online via SBI ePay Lite (Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, or Challan).
