Eligibility Criteria & Important Guidelines / पात्रता और महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश
- Service Experience: Candidates must have served at least 15 years in Indian Army, Navy or Air Force as Havildar, Petty Officer, Sergeant or below ranks and must be registered with the District Sainik Welfare Board on the crucial date.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Standard (Matric) pass from recognized board.
- Performance Rating & Medical Category: Candidates must have 'Very Good' or above performance rating and medical category either "AYE" or "SHAPE – I" on discharge certificate.
- Age Limit: Maximum age as on 01-Dec-2025 is 43 years for UR/EWS/ST, 46 years for OBC (NCL), and 48 years for SC candidates.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of the local language (Tamil) is preferred; candidates proficient in band instruments in Armed Forces will be given preference.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Salary & Benefits / वेतन और लाभ
Selected candidates for Security Guard (W-3 Grade) will be offered a pay scale of ₹20,000 to ₹81,000. The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) is ₹5.47 lakhs per annum. Additional benefits include Unified Incentive Scheme, medical treatment for self & dependents, group insurance, and eligible accommodation on payment of standard rent.

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
- Written Test: Objective type, 100 marks, 120 minutes; includes General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS-50, SC/OBC(NCL)-40.
- Service Weightage & Performance Rating: Up to 20 marks based on years of service and discharge performance rating.
- Physical Test: Consists of Walk/Run (1.6 km), Sit-ups and Push-ups; graded on marks, minimum pass required.
- Document Verification: Candidates must produce original documents and meet eligibility to appear in selection tests.
- Project Affected Persons (PAPs): 20 bonus marks allowed in Written Test upon valid proof.
- Final Merit: Based on combined marks of Written Test, Service Weightage & Performance, and Physical Test. Tie-breaker: older candidate and then alphabetical order.
