There is a single opening for the post of Junior Research Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry, with a monthly consolidated fellowship. / जैव रसायन विभाग में जूनियर रिसर्च असिस्टेंट के लिए कुल 01 पद उपलब्ध है। मासिक वेतन अनुदान स्वरूप है।
Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मानदंड
- M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular and Human Genetics, or Life Sciences.
एम.एससी. जैव रसायन, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी, आनुवंशिकी या लाइफ साइंस में। - B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent degree with 1st class in both Graduate and Post Graduate exams.
बी.ई./बी.टेक। या समकक्ष डिग्री प्रथम श्रेणी में स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर परीक्षा से। - Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply.
अधिक उच्च योग्यता वाले उम्मीदवार भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं। - Applicants should be residents of Uttar Pradesh and must submit a valid domicile certificate.
उम्मीदवार उत्तर प्रदेश के निवासी होने चाहिए एवं वैध डोमिसाइल प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना होगा। - Preferable skills: Experience with pathogens, molecular biology techniques, proteomics, genomics and willingness to pursue full-time PhD.

Age Limit / आयु सीमा
Maximum 28 years as of the date of appointment. Age relaxation applies as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

Salary / वेतन
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 25,000 per month.
चयनित उम्मीदवार को मासिक 25,000 रुपये का संकलित वेतन/फेलोशिप दी जाएगी।
Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be based on merit and project requirements. Candidates shortlisted will be called for an interview. Mere possession of eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.
चयन मेरिट और परियोजना आवश्यकताओं के आधार पर होगा। शॉर्टलिस्टेड उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। योग्यता होने मात्र से साक्षात्कार का अधिकार नहीं मिलेगा।
Important: Interviews will be conducted physically at BHU, but online interviews may be considered in special cases. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
