About BARC OCES/DGFS Program
बीएआरसी OCES/DGFS प्रोग्राम के बारे में
The BARC's OCES (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates) is a one-year training program, while the DGFS (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme) is a two-year fellowship for meritorious engineering graduates pursuing M.Tech. Both programs are designed to prepare candidates for Group-A Scientific Officer roles in prestigious DAE units such as BARC, NPCIL, IGCAR, and others.
बीएआरसी का OCES (इंजीनियरिंग स्नातक और विज्ञान स्नातकोत्तर के लिए ओरिएंटेशन कोर्स) एक वर्ष का प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम है, जबकि DGFS (डीएई स्नातक फैलोशिप स्कीम) दो वर्ष की फैलोशिप है। ये दोनों प्रोग्राम योग्य उम्मीदवारों को डीएई के प्रतिष्ठित विभागों जैसे बीएआरसी, एनपीसीआईएल, आईजीसीएआर आदि में ग्रुप-ए वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी पदों के लिए तैयार करते हैं।
Eligibility Criteria / योग्यता मानदंड
- Candidates must hold regular full-time degrees (no correspondence/distance/part-time) in engineering or science disciplines with at least 60% marks.

Salary and Benefits / वेतन और लाभ
During the training period, selected candidates receive a monthly stipend of ₹74,000. OCES trainees also get a one-time book allowance of ₹30,000. DGFS fellows have tuition fees reimbursed and receive additional contingency grants.

After successful completion, Scientific Officers join Group-A posts under 7th CPC Pay Matrix at Level 10 with a basic pay of ₹56,100 and total emoluments approximately ₹1,35,000 including allowances.
प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने पर, वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी 7वें वेतन आयोग के स्तर 10 पर ग्रुप-ए पदों में जुड़ते हैं, जिसकी मूल वेतन ₹56,100 और कुल वेतन भत्तों सहित लगभग ₹1,35,000 होती है।

Application Fee / आवेदन शुल्क
General and OBC male candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹500. Female candidates, SC/ST, transgender, physically challenged candidates, and certain other categories are exempted.
