Selection Process | चयन प्रक्रिया
The recruitment will be conducted through multiple stages for fair assessment:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Marks vary for male/female and branches (40 - 60 marks)
- Medical Examination – Health and fitness check by Medical Officer
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Measurement of height and chest (qualifying)
- Written Test – 100 MCQs, 50 marks, no negative marking; syllabus includes arithmetic, English, reasoning, Assam GK, etc.
- Viva-Voce – Oral interview, 5 marks
- Academic Weightage – 5 marks for Constable (UB) based on HS percentage

- Fill the registration form carefully providing correct Employment Exchange Number, qualifications, district, caste, date of birth, Aadhaar details, and other details.
- After registration, get your Application ID and keep it safe for login later.
- Login using Application ID / Mobile Number and Date of Birth, then apply for the relevant advertisement number SLPRB/REC/CONST (AB & UB)/727/2025/94.
- Upload required documents such as photograph (max 450 KB), signature (max 100 KB), age proof, mark sheets, employment exchange card, caste certificates if applicable, and any reservation/quota certificates.
- Select clearly the post preference: UB or AB or both with specific order.
