Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता
Essential Qualification / अनिवार्य योग्यता:
- PG Diploma or Degree in Journalism / Mass Media OR
पत्रकारिता / मास मीडिया में पीजी डिप्लोमा या डिग्री या - Graduate with at least 2 years journalistic experience
कम से कम 2 साल का पत्रकारिता अनुभव के साथ स्नातक
Other Mandatory Requirements / अन्य आवश्यकताएँ:
- Must reside in the concerned district headquarters or within 10 km radius
उम्मीदवार का संबंधित जिले के मुख्यालय में या 10 किमी के दायरे में रहना अनिवार्य है - Basic computer knowledge and word processing skills
कंप्यूटर और वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग का ज्ञान आवश्यक - Possession of news-gathering equipment (camera, recorder, etc.)
न्यूज़ कैप्चर करने वाले उपकरण जैसे कैमरा, रिकॉर्डर होना चाहिए
Language Proficiency / भाषा ज्ञान:
- Bengali (mandatory for all districts)
बंगाली - सभी जिलों के लिए अनिवार्य - Nepali (mandatory for Darjeeling & Kalimpong)
नेपाली - दार्जिलिंग और कलिंपोंग के लिए अनिवार्य - Hindi and English (working knowledge desirable)

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
Candidates will be shortlisted based on submitted application and documents.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview and Field Trial.

Remuneration / वेतन
Payment as per revised scheme available on newsonair.gov.in. Generally, payment is assignment-based with monthly retainership.
वेतन नई स्कीम के अनुसार भुगतान किया जाएगा, जो वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है। आमतौर पर कार्यानुसार भुगतान एवं मासिक भत्ता मिलेगा।
