Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता विवरण
Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
Candidates must have an MD or DNB degree in Psychiatry from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Postdoctoral Fellowship qualifications including PDFDM in Addiction Psychiatry.
- At least two research publications indexed in PUBMED.
- Experience in mental health research projects.
उम्मीदवार के पास एनएमसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से एमडी/डीएनबी (साइकेट्री) होना अनिवार्य है। प्राधानता उन उम्मीदवारों को दी जाएगी जिनके पास पीडीएफडीएम जैसे पोस्टडॉक्टोरल फेलोशिप, दो पीयूबीमेड इंडेक्स्ड शोध पत्र और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य शोध का अनुभव हो।
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
The maximum age limit to apply is 40 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxations will be applicable as per government rules.

Salary / वेतन
The position carries a consolidated monthly pay of ₹1,40,000. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided beyond this amount.
इस पद के लिए मासिक एकमुश्त वेतन ₹1,40,000 है। इसके अतिरिक्त कोई भत्ता या सुविधा नहीं दी जाएगी।
Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by a personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

- Appointment as per AIIMS and government rules on a contractual basis for 11 months.

The appointment is purely on a contractual basis for 11 months. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview or joining. Candidates must join immediately upon selection or within the time frame specified by the institute. Only original and self-attested copies of documents will be accepted during verification. All disputes related to the recruitment will be subject to jurisdiction of Guwahati courts.
