Overview / परिचय
UPSC conducts this recruitment to fill 80 posts of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in EPFO, which is under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. The APFC is a Group A Central Government post with All India Transfer Service liability. Candidates will be selected through a two-stage process comprising a Recruitment Test and Interview.

Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
- Essential: Graduate Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Salary / वेतन
The post falls under Level-10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Probation period is one year. Selected candidates will receive typical Central Government Group A officer salary with associated benefits.

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
UPSC selects candidates through a two-stage process:
- Recruitment Test (RT): Objective type, 2-hour paper with 300 marks, negative marking applies.
- Interview/Personality Test: 100 marks, candidates qualifying RT are called.
The weightage between RT and Interview is 75:25. Minimum qualifying marks vary by category.
