The vacancies are distributed among various posts with different pay scales from Level 4 to Level 8. Posts include Assistant Section Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Inspector (IT, CE), and more.

Educational Qualification / शैक्षिक योग्यता
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university as of 1 August 2026.
कुछ पोस्ट के लिए विशिष्ट योग्यता जैसे JSO के लिए 12वीं में गणित में 60% अंक या स्नातक स्तर पर सांख्यिकी विषय आवश्यक है।
अंतिम वर्ष के छात्र भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं, पर उन्हें 01-08-2026 तक डिग्री पूरी करनी अनिवार्य है।
Age Limit & Relaxation / आयु सीमा एवं छूट
The upper age limit depends on post category, generally between 18 to 27/30/32 years as on 01 August 2026.
आरक्षित वर्गों को सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार आयु सीमा में छूट प्राप्त होगी। उदाहरण के लिए, SC/ST को 5 वर्ष, OBC को 3 वर्ष, PwBD को 10-15 वर्ष की छूट मिलेगी।
Application Fee / आवेदन शुल्क
- General, OBC, and EWS Male Candidates: ₹100 (Non-Refundable)
- Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen: Fee exempted
Payment modes include BHIM UPI, Net Banking, credit/debit cards of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and RuPay.

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be through a two-tier Computer Based Examination (CBE):
Tier-I: 100 MCQs covering General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.
Tier-II: Paper-I (Mathematics, Reasoning, English, General Awareness); Paper-II for JSO; Paper-III for AAO.
Negative marking applies in both tiers.

How to Apply / आवेदन कैसे करें
Candidates must apply online only at ssc.gov.in or via the mY SSC mobile app.
Steps: Register for One-Time Registration (OTR) – Fill application form – Upload photograph & signature – Pay fee – Submit.
