Brief Eligibility Criteria / योग्यता मानदंड
- Essential: Must have Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) as per government norms.
- Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Veterinary Science, or Biochemistry.
- Minimum two years' experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok language will be an added advantage.
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of 07 January 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

The post falls under Pay Band-4 with a pre-revised salary scale of ₹15,600 - ₹39,100 plus Grade Pay ₹5,400. It corresponds to Level-14 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018.

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
The recruitment will be done through a two-stage selection process consisting of:
- Written Examination (170 marks): Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering English language, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and core subject topics related to biotechnology and allied fields.
- Viva Voce / Interview (30 marks): Assessment of personal qualities, intellectual ability, general knowledge, and interest in current affairs. Includes 5 marks for desirable qualifications.
Written exam duration: 3 hours.

- Register your profile via One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the TPSC website.
- After successful registration, you will receive a User ID on your registered mobile/email.
- Use this User ID to fill out the Project Officer application form online.
- Ensure all details are correctly filled before submitting the application.
- Multiple applications are discouraged; if more than one is submitted, only the latest application fee will be accepted.
