NIT Silchar is inviting applications for a Research Associate I position under a project sponsored by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The selected candidate will contribute to advanced research activities particularly on designing and developing Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) Rectenna Array Systems for futuristic space missions.

Eligibility Criteria | पात्रता मानदंड
- Educational Qualification – Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or M.E./M.Tech with at least 3 years of research, teaching, or design & development experience and a publication in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
शैक्षिक योग्यता – इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं कम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग में पीएच.डी. या समकक्ष डिग्री, या एमई/एमटेक के साथ 3 वर्षों का शोध, शिक्षण या डिजाइन एवं विकास का अनुभव और एससीआई जर्नल में शोध पत्र प्रकाशित होना अनिवार्य है। - Desirable Experience – Knowledge of designing Antennas/Rectifiers/Rectennas using HFSS, CST, ADS software is highly preferred.
वांछनीय अनुभव – HFSS, CST, ADS सॉफ़्टवेयर का उपयोग कर एंटीना, रेक्टिफायर, रेक्टेना डिजाइनिंग का अनुभव होना फायदेमंद रहेगा। - Age Limit – Maximum 35 years as of the last date to apply.

Salary & Benefits | वेतन और लाभ
The Research Associate I will receive a consolidated stipend of INR 58,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per ISRO guidelines. The position is on a contract basis for two years or till the project completion, whichever is earlier. Extension depends on performance evaluations every 12 months.
