Eligibility Criteria / योग्यता और अनुभव
- Educational Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or any relevant field.
- Essential Experience: Knowledge and hands-on experience in molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, protein chemistry, mammalian cell culture, and cell line handling.
- Desirable: Experience in transcriptomics, proteomics, primary neuronal cultures, and animal handling techniques will be an added advantage.

वांछनीय अनुभव: ट्रांस्क्रिप्टोमिक्स, प्रोटीओमिक्स, न्यूरोनल कल्चर एवं पशु प्रयोगों का अनुभव होने पर प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।
Salary & Benefits / वेतन और भत्ते
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹58,000 plus 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA), as per the Department of Science and Technology (DST) norms – OM dated 26.06.2023. This is a contractual position till the end of the project or one year whichever is shorter.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹100/- is applicable for General and OBC candidates only. Fees must be paid through Demand Draft (DD) drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank payable at Delhi/New Delhi in favor of the Director, NII. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from fee payment upon submission of valid documents.

How to Apply / आवेदन कैसे करें
Interested candidates must apply strictly in the prescribed format available in the official notification. The application along with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) mentioning research expertise and publications should be sent by email to the project investigator. A hard copy of the application must also be sent by post to the address mentioned in the notification before the last date.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Selected candidates will be required to submit attested copies of all certificates along with the DD of ₹100/- at the time of the interview.

The selection will be based on shortlisting of candidates followed by an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated.
