Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), under DRDO, Chandigarh invites eligible candidates for Walk-in Interviews for 15 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) posts in various engineering and science disciplines. Candidates with M.Tech/Ph.D/M.E/M.Phil or B.E/B.Tech with NET/GATE can appear for the interviews on 29th and 30th December 2025. There is no application fee and selection will be purely on a merit basis through walk-in interviews. Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मानदंड
Educational Qualification / शैक्षिक योग्यता
- JRF Posts: M.Tech/M.S or equivalent in specified engineering fields from IITs/Reputed Universities, or B.E/B.Tech with NET/GATE qualification.
- Research Associate Posts: M.Tech or Ph.D in relevant engineering or science disciplines with necessary research experience.
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python, LangChain AI, Django, Geo Server, Image Processing, and Mechanical Engineering domains.
- For mechanical and manufacturing posts, 4+ years private sector experience or relevant diploma certificates required.
जूनियर रिसर्च फेलो पदों के लिए आवश्यक है कि उम्मीदवार ने M.Tech/M.S संबंधित क्षेत्रों में IIT या प्रतिष्ठित विश्वविद्यालय से किया हो अथवा B.E/B.Tech के साथ NET/GATE क्वालिफिकेशन हो। रिसर्च एसोसिएट पदों के लिए M.Tech या Ph.D जरूरी है, साथ ही अनुभव आवश्यक है। कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता, मशीन लर्निंग, पायथन जैसे विषयों का ज्ञान वरीयता प्राप्त है। मैकेनिकल संबंधित पदों के लिए 4 वर्ष से अधिक निजी क्षेत्र का अनुभव या आवश्यक डिप्लोमा होना जरूरी है।
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
Age will be as per DRDO/CSIR regulations with relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt rules.
आयु सीमा डीआरडीओ/सीएसआईआर के नियमों के अनुसार होगी, आरक्षित वर्गों को सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित छूट भी मिलेगी।
Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
- Walk-in Interview on specified dates.
- Evaluation based on academic credentials, research experience, publications, and interview performance.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
आवेदन प्रारूप नहीं है, केवल वॉक-इन इंटरव्यू आयोजित किया जाएगा। चयन मेरिट, इंटरव्यू प्रदर्शन एवं अनुभव के आधार पर होगा। इंटरव्यू में भाग लेने के लिए कोई TA/DA नहीं दिया जाएगा।
Salary / वेतन विवरण
- JRF with B.E/B.Tech + NET/GATE: ₹31,000 + HRA
- JRF with M.Tech: ₹37,000 + HRA
- RA with M.Tech + 4+ Years Exp: ₹37,000 + HRA
- RA with Ph.D: ₹67,000 + HRA
सभी वेतन और HRA संबंधित नियमों के अनुसार लागू होंगे।
Salary and House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid as per DRDO rules.

- There is no online application. Candidates must appear for walk-in interview on the given dates.
