The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has announced notification for the recruitment of 220 Junior Resident posts for the January 2026 session. Interested candidates who possess MBBS or BDS degrees along with completion of the internship can apply online. The online application process starts on 5th December 2025 and closes on 19th December 2025 (upto 5 PM).

Eligibility Criteria / योग्यता
Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
- Candidate must have MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized institute including completion of internship.
उम्मीदवार के पास मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से MBBS या BDS डिग्री और इंटर्नशिप पूरी होनी चाहिए। - Only candidates who passed MBBS/BDS between 01.01.2023 and 31.12.2025 (including internship) are eligible.
केवल वही उम्मीदवार जो 01.01.2023 से 31.12.2025 के बीच MBBS/BDS पास कर चुके हैं, आवेदन कर सकते हैं। - DMC (Delhi Medical Council) / DDC (Dental Council) registration is mandatory before joining if selected.
चयनित होने पर डीयूएमसी/डीडीसी रजिस्ट्रेशन अनिवार्य है।

Experience / अनुभव
Maximum three terms of Junior Residency are allowed (each term of 6 months). Candidates previously completing 3 terms will not be eligible. AIIMS graduates have preference.
अधिकतम तीन टर्म जूनियर रेसिडेंसी के लिए अनुमति है (प्रति टर्म 6 महीने)। पहले से तीन टर्म पूरे कर चुके उम्मीदवार पात्र नहीं होंगे। AIIMS के स्नातक को वरीयता दी जाएगी।
Salary & Security Deposit / वेतन और सुरक्षा जमा राशि
- Junior Residents will get Rs. 56,100 per month (Level 10 Pay Matrix) plus allowances.
जूनियर रेसिडेंट को रु. 56,100/- मासिक (लेवल 10 पे मैट्रिक्स) के साथ भत्ते मिलेंगे। - A security deposit of Rs. 25,000 must be paid online to participate in seat allocation.
सीट अलॉटमेंट में भाग लेने के लिए रु. 25,000/- की सुरक्षा जमा राशि ऑनलाइन जमा करनी होगी। - Security deposit is forfeited if candidate does not join after allotment.
यदि उम्मीदवार अलॉटमेंट के बाद ज्वाइन नहीं करता, तो जमा राशि जब्त कर ली जाएगी।

Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया
Selection of Junior Residents will be merit-based:
जूनियर रेसिडेंट का चयन मेरिट के आधार पर होगा:
- AIIMS MBBS graduates will be given preference based on aggregate marks of professional examinations.
AIIMS MBBS ग्रेजुएट को प्रोफेशनल परीक्षा के कुल नंबरों के आधार पर वरीयता मिलेगी। - Remaining vacancies will be allocated to other candidates based on INI-CET PG Entrance Examination rank or MBBS percentage marks.
बाकी पदों के लिए INI-CET PG पेपर की रैंक या MBBS प्रतिशत के आधार पर चयन होगा। - Counseling will be conducted based on combined merit list with options to select preferred department.
काउंसलिंग संयुक्त मेरिट लिस्ट पर आधारित होगी जिसमें उम्मीदवार अपनी पसंदीदा विभाग चुन सकेंगे।
Reservation Policy / आरक्षण नीति
Reservation is as per Government of India rules:

- OBC / SC / ST / EWS reservation applicable as per Central Government norms.
OBC/SC/ST/EWS के लिए केन्द्र सरकार के नियम लागू होंगे। - 4% horizontal reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates.
PWD उम्मीदवारों के लिए 4% क्षैतिज आरक्षण। - OBC candidates must upload valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
