Eligibility Criteria | पात्रता
Applicants must hold full-time regular qualifications from recognized institutes/universities with minimum marks as specified below. Post-wise qualifications include:
- Assistant Engineer (OT)/Electrical: Full-time BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (AICTE approved or equivalent)
- Assistant Manager (IT): BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks.
- Accounts Officer: CA/ICWA (CWA) or M.Com with minimum 60% marks.
- Divisional Accountant: CA Intermediate or equivalent.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Full-time 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
- Junior Engineer (Communication): BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication with at least 50% marks.
- Law Officer Grade-II: LLB (5-year integrated or 3-year degree) with minimum 55% marks + 3 years professional experience.
- Telephone Mechanic: Full-time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
- Lower Division Clerk/Typist: Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks + 120 hrs computer course.
- Lower Division Clerk (Accounts): Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with minimum 50% marks + computer course.
- Assistant Lineman & Assistant Sub-Station Attendant: 10th grade or equivalent with ITI certificate.
- Electrician Grade-II: ITI with matriculation in Electrical discipline and minimum 60% marks or Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 50% marks.
Note: Proficiency in Punjabi language up to Matric standard is mandatory for all posts.
Salary Details | वेतन संरचना
- Assistant Engineer / Assistant Manager (IT) / Accounts Officer: ₹47,600 per month (7th CPC Level as per PSTCL rules)
- Divisional Accountant / Junior Engineer: ₹35,400 per month
- Other posts: ₹19,900 to ₹35,400 (as applicable)
- Benefits and allowances will be provided according to company norms
- Probation period: 2 years (Only Dearness Allowance admissible during probation)

Selection Process | चयन प्रक्रिया
The selection will be based on an online Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective multiple-choice questions. Final merit will be prepared solely on the marks obtained in CBT. Most posts do not have interviews. Document verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. Reservation and relaxation rules apply as per Punjab government norms.
