Eligibility Criteria (योग्यता)
Assistant Commissioner: Master's degree with 50% aggregate marks and B.Ed from NCTE recognized university/institute.
Principal: Master's degree with 50% marks, B.Ed with 50% from recognized university or three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with 50% marks.
Vice Principal: Master's degree with 50%, B.Ed with 50% marks or three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with 50% marks from NCTE recognized institute.
Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Master's degree with 50% marks in concerned subjects and B.Ed from NCTE recognized institutions.
Primary Teachers (PRTs): Senior Secondary (12th pass) with 50% marks and relevant Bachelor degrees for specialized subjects like Music/Performing Arts.

Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)
The recruitment process includes a two-tier written examination followed by an interview for many posts. The merit list will be prepared by giving 85% weightage to Tier-2 exam marks and 15% to interview performance. Candidates must also produce a medical fitness certificate at the final stage. Selected candidates will receive a salary up to ₹2,09,200/- along with allowances. For NVS posts, a 10% special allowance is provided for residential duties, excluding Assistant Commissioner (Academics).
