CAT 2025 Exam Overview

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have released the notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. The exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode (expected) on 30th November 2025 across 170+ cities in India. It will be held in three shifts through a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
• Final-year students are eligible
• No age limit
• CA/CS/ICWA-qualified candidates can also apply

CAT Application Fee

• General / NC-OBC: ₹2,500
• SC / ST / PwD: ₹1,250

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern

• Total Questions: 68
• Sections: VARC, DILR, QA
• Duration: 120 minutes (40 mins/section)
• Marking Scheme: +3 for correct, -1 for incorrect (MCQs only)
• TITA Questions (non-MCQs): No negative marking
